Somewhere between where I was & where I'm going.
Tripvora started as a notebook in a glovebox. This page is what happens when that notebook stays open, a slow-scrolling record of the trips that shaped the product.
Left before the sun came up. Didn't have a reason — just felt like driving into the dark and watching the world wake up around me.
Slept in a pullout tonight. No town lights for fifty miles, so the whole sky showed up instead.
The road doesn't care about your plans. That's kind of the point.
Woke up and couldn't see anything. The fog was so thick the mountains disappeared. Made coffee and just… sat there. Didn't check my phone for three hours.
Sometimes the best moments are the ones where nothing happens at all.
Met someone who's been doing this for 3 years. No fixed address, no plan. She said the hardest part isn't the loneliness — it's learning to sit with yourself.
Ordered a second coffee and stayed an extra hour.
Parked up for two nights. Maps on the table, granola wrappers everywhere, a book I keep meaning to finish. It is a mess, but it is my mess.
I didn't expect today to feel this quiet.
Pulled over because the light was doing something impossible. Sat on the hood with my boots still dusty from the trail. Didn't take a photo for ten minutes. Just watched.
There's a version of me that existed before this trip that I barely recognise. Not better or worse. Just different. The road does that — it files down the parts that don't matter.
Still figuring it out.
